These Key Chains are maybe from the scrapes of leather from the material used to make the belts. The Amish kids will cut them mostly out of the neck and the belly areas of the hides. Which works great for these products. It's kind of like watching a Wack-a-mole game when they are making them.
These will vary in length and width because they are mostly made from the remaining pieces of the belts which are 1 1/4" or 1 1/2" widths.
